- Since childhood, I’ve been a true countryside boy, spending my early years playing by the riverside and catching beetles.
Origin of Aboutdoor
Aboutdoor has adopted the prefix "about outdoor".
I love the outdoors, and I want to share what I've seen and heard with people all over the world about sports cameras and the joys of outdoor living.
In 2023, I launched my own outdoor lifestyle blog, “Aboutdoor アバウトドア,” where I began publishing in-depth reviews of action cameras. At the same time, I also run a dedicated action camera review blog. After reading my articles, a friend said to me: “Why not translate these reviews into more languages so more people who love the outdoors—or are considering buying an action camera—can read them? Let’s create multilingual blogs together!”
So in 2024–2025, we launched the multilingual version of Aboutdoor!! Our hope is that everyone who loves using action cameras can find even more information about them here.
What are my favorites?
I often challenge myself with outdoor activities like hiking and mountain climbing.
Sometimes I even build a snow hut to sleep in!
I once traveled solo across Europe as a backpacker for two months.
Cycling across Japan while camping in the wild.
I enjoy lighting bonfires in the mountains and love going rock climbing—even if it sometimes feels a little scary.
I like to travel alone, seeing different scenery as I go.
I’ve loved photography and studied different types of cameras for many years. Action cameras and 360° cameras, in particular, feel especially intuitive to me and have become essential gear for my outdoor lifestyle.
Through this blog, I’ll be sharing my own experiences in the hope of helping you discover everything about action cameras and outdoor adventures~!
I’ll keep updating this blog with the same spirit, sharing my thoughts and experiences with everyone who loves the outdoors.
